Today P1/2/3 had a lovely visit from Dr Rosie Nash from the University of Tasmania and HealthLit4Everyone. She is here on a Churchill Fellowship exploring ‘Health Literacy’ and the ‘Importance of Health Literacy Programs for Children in Schools’. They have a chapter from Northern Ireland in their book called ‘Global Perspectives on Children’s Health Literacy’. Today she read the children a great story called Possum Magic by Mem Fox.
