P6 explored the problem-solving type- “FINDING ALL POSSIBILITIES”. They wanted to find the total costs for a range of coke bottle of different capacities. They used the following skills:
1. Mental maths- rounding and adjusting.
2. Working collaboratively.
To solve the problem, they used the strategies of:
1. Solving a simpler problem (Fanta bottles)
2. Acting it out
3. Making a list
4. Working in a systematic way
They observed patterns in their findings and that order is irrelevant- the total cost for EACH combination will remain the same.
