The Pollinators Through Art project aimed to educate and engage the children in the fascinating world of pollinators while fostering their artistic expression.
This unique initiative brought together local artist Sara Brown, and pupils, providing them with a platform to learn about the vital role of pollinators in our ecosystem and creatively express their newfound knowledge through art.
Through a series of workshops, the children were encouraged to express their understanding of pollinators through various art forms, including paintings, charcoal, and drawings. Sara provided guidance and inspiration, helping the children channel their creativity into meaningful and visually impactful representations.
With thanks to Sara, and our very own artists Melanie and Faye who took the ideas and inspiration of the children's designs and transformed the wooden storage shed and container into colourful and exciting spaces for us all to enjoy.
