Pod for outside..... HELP!!!!

Dear parents/carers/ past pupils and friends of St Mary's

The school are considering putting in a bid for one of the Pods that used to be housed on Bangor seafront. This would be a tremendous addition to the school. 

Every inch of the school is used for - reading volunteers, maths volunteers, guitar lessons, piano lessons, literacy support teacher, reading groups from all classes, Educational Psychologist visits, Play sessions, Calm and Quiet areas, Various Meetings, 1-1 withdrawal sessions.... the list goes on!! We would absolutey love the additional room and it would be used to the full.

To be able to qualify for the Pod, we need to

• Transport it here (we assume from Bangor) Measurements- width 2.8m  height 2.4m  length 4.6m
• Fit it out with electricity
• Connect water and drainage.                                                                                                                 

We are appealing to anyone who is a parent, carer, past pupil or friend of St Mary's to help us out.....

We require quotations from the above services to help us prove the costings required. These quotations are due the week we return after Hallowe'en.

During these times of minimal disposable expenditure in school budgets, this would be an amazing opportunity and would enhance the school tremendously. We would also of course welcome any work 'in kind'. Please feel free to volunteer, call in favours, 'encourage' the daddies, uncles and grandas.... anything goes!!!
