P6 investigate friction
12th Oct 2021
P6 have been learning about the planet Mars. We know that the surface of Mars is rocky, gravelly and mountainous. We want to send a Mars buggy there but would this surface create too much friction for the vehicle to travel across? We decided to investigate how far a vehicle would travel on three different surfaces. We discovered that the smoother the surface, the further it would travel as there was less friction.
