Grandparents’ Day!! Catholic School's Week 2023
What an amazing morning!!! 🤩
Thank you to everyone who joined us for our ‘Grandparents’ Day’ mass.
We had 60+ Grandparents- the hall was full and the kids were bursting with excitement.
The pupils had a lot of questions.
Special mention to best question & answer. Faolan Fitzsimmons asked, “what happened if you blocked the toilet when you were at school?” You can imagine the shocked look on the boys and girls faces when Sean, Roisin & Ciara Arthurs’ granny (Cora) told them that they didn’t have toilets and had to go in buckets 😱
There was also some sage advice from Councillor Joe Boyle (Freddie's Granda) on how to avoid detection if you break something in school!! We hope the pupils don't remember what he said!😂
Attached is a presentation of photographs sent into school over the past week of our pupils with their grandparents. It is almost 20 minutes long so is best viewed in a comfortable armchair with a cup of tea. Please share and enjoy it. Sincere apologies if you sent photographs and they are not included, I have done my best to include them all.
