It was a pleasure to welcome Natalie, Joel, Ted and Ralph this week and to present a cheque to them on behalf of the community of St Mary's. See attached photograph and caption as appeared in the Chronicle:
St Mary’s Primary School, Kircubbin showed their extraordinary generosity by presenting a cheque for £810 to the Children’s Cancer Unit Charity. The School raised the money when they found out that local boy Ted Thompson is undergoing treatment for Leukaemia at the Royal Victoria Hospital, his mum Natalie and grandmother Rhonda Colwell are both classroom assistants at the School. Sean Ennis, Principal (right) is here presenting the cheque to Joel, Ralph, Ted and Natalie Thompson. Also included are Aimee Robinson and Jordan Booysen from Jymkidz and Rhonda Colwell. The money was raised through a non-uniformed day and Gymnastics day with Jymkidz.
