I am aware that some people are reporting that they have not received messages via the school app. I have spoken to the developers and they have assured me that there are no issues affecting delivery of messages,news or letters.
I have also sought clarification of what the updates and message tabs do. All items sent out by are contained in the updates section. This includes messages so it may be the best place to access as everything should be there.
Apple IOS 14 update. If you have updated your IOS you will also need to update the app in the appstore.
The developer has sent a text to all registered mobile numbers so that people with new handsets etc are prompted to download the app again.
- It is important that as with any app it is closed and restarted regularly to prevent dormancy related issues.
- It may also be the case that some of you may need to restart your notifications.
