This morning we had a visit from Mrs Coleman our maths coordinator. She paid a short visit to observe the P7 class engaging in carousel maths. Groups rotated around 4 different challenges, trying to complete them before our “Bomb” went off. During the plenary groups got a mark for each correct answer, but more importantly lost a mark if any member of the group couldn’t explain their answer. The classroom was buzzing with lots of peer learning and teaching happening!
